Ok! We haven't played with thrusters in a while... These should be considered light and something you can pick up and finish the 10 reps unbroken each set. Looking for intensity here.
So, CrossFit works. (that's a period after the works). It works because it employs "constantly varied functional movements, performed at "HIGH INTENSITY" over broad time and modal domains". What does this mean? This means we do all sorts of different exercises and we do them for a short time, long time and anytime in between. The key to it all is that when we actually get around to doing it, we do it with INTENSITY. You could do 10 thrusters at 75 lbs very intensely for 20 seconds or you could do them 1 at a time over the course of 2 minutes. The 20 second effort will yield the best results, and in a fraction of the time. This is how we can squeeze A LOT of great results out of a 1 hour class. But. The onus is on you to up the ante on how much you put into it. Give it your all for just a short period of time and you'll be AMAZED at what you can achieve!
2025 is YOUR year, and it starts now.
See you in the gym.
